me: Through out my academic career I passed out with first class with distinction and without backlogs.

VO: why u have taken this field in UG?
me: I am interested in the field of communications so that i selected this and iam desired to do ms in VLSI design to improve my skills in this field.
VO: ok... What will you do after completing your ms?
me: After completing my ms i will return to india and i will geta job in the technical department in one of the VLSI based companies.....
VO: ok... thats good........ How many admits you got?
ME: 2
VO: which universities?
me: university of south alabama, csun
VO:she checking all my provisional certificate,GRE, Toefl scores....
she is checking my GRE score card keenly....... I scared sometime she will asks y your verbal score min..... iam lucky she didnt sak me that one.......
VO: who is sponsoring you?
me: family members.
VO: What are your parents annual income?
me: Replied accordingly.....
she asks my index finger fingerprint..... after that she types something ....and then said

me - I said that this university has a good electrical engineering department, and
it has ood coursework. It is very good for student who are planning for thesis.
And I am planning for thesis.
VO - So which topic are u planning to do a thesis?
me - I want to specialize in microelectronics, and I am planning for a thesis in VLSI
process integration (i checked the thesis areas in the univ website, at times
this helps)
VO - So you seem to have a scholarship of $1000.
me - yes mam, I also have an out-state fee waiver.
VO - ohh so the amount in the I20 is instate aahh? ok, so how r u planning for the
remaining fees?
me - My father has a savings of 10 lakhs which wud be sufficient for my first year, and for second year I have applied for bank loan. Due to the formalities of the bank, they are still processing my application and I haven't been received the sanction letter yet,
but I am confident that I'll get the loan
