Me: To pursue PhD in Biomedical Sciences from Indiana University (IU).
VO: But ur i-20 states that u r going to Indiana univ- Purdue univ indianapolis.. Are they the same?
Me: Yes ma'm.. Indiana Univ has a joint campus with Purdue Univ at Indianapolis
VO: Ok.. Why not in India?
Me: A PhD in biomedical sciences in not available in India.
VO: Ok.. So how many univs did u apply to?
Me: 7 univs in all..
VO: 7? thts a huge number..
Me: Yes Ma'm bt of these, i had 5 admits
VO: Good... Did u have funding from other univs?
Me: Yes ma'm.. i had funding from unt, gsu and osu too.....
VO: Alright, your visa is being issued.. Collect ur passport around 4:30pm..
